Our Chapter Officer Election took place in June. Elected to a third two year term: Tom McNicholl-Chairman, Kevin Tubbs-Vice Chairman, Vinny Lopez-Secretary. Elected to his first two year term: Gary Hartman-Treasurer. We look forward to serving the membership for the next two years. Your input is always welcome.

Tony will be discussing Transport reliability, review causes of packet losses, media transport protocols and network security. We will discuss Intraplex IP Link’s methods for reliable IP transport for audio, FM MPX and control (GPIO, PAD) and Introduce the Intraplex ASCENT high-density transport system with SRT. About the Presenter:
Tony’s background includes more than 30 years of experience in the broadcast industry, including 20 years as Sr. VP of Engineering & Technology for Nassau Broadcasting, where he bought his first Intraplex STL T1 system in 1996. During his tenure at Nassau he continued to rely on Intraplex products to provide the audio and data transport for Nassau stations in markets such as Portland, Boston, Cape Cod, Allentown PA, Trenton/Philadelphia, Annapolis and Frederick MD.
In April 2018, Tony joined the GatesAir family where he makes use of all of his experience to help GatesAir deliver the highest quality, most reliable audio transport solutions available.
Tony is a member of SBE.
At this time, we are still planning for the Chapter 22 Expo and National Meeting on September 23. The Chapter Officers are weighing options based on vendor feedback, venue policies and state/local restrictions (which is an unknown at this time for our show date).
