7:30pm Presentation – “Transmitter Site Best Practices, Tips and Tricks” presented by Jeff Welton from Nautel
About the Presentation:
Jeff will share useful thoughts and ideas to keep your TV and Radio facilities fully functional and secure. Getting back to maintenance as we get back to the studio. A lot of routine tasks got deferred over the past few years as every day became a series of remotes, with folks working from home and getting the content into the system as best they could. Between that and the ongoing parts and logistics challenges, it’s more critical than it has been in years to get back to preventative maintenance and scheduled testing of backup systems. In this session, we’ll take a look at lead times, then get into the best of the worst, looking at some installations that could use a little TLC and discussing how we fix what we’ve got without breaking the budget.
