About the Presentation:
With Broadcasters migrating to the Cloud, Microservices are becoming the building blocks for production tools, monolithic workflows, community production and broadcast IoT (internet of things). Jared will discuss Microservices and how they impact the new way of broadcasting.
About the Presenter:
Jared Timmins leads the TVU Global Solutions Team. He brings 15 years of sales, account strategy and technology solutions experience in the broadcast industry. Prior to joining TVU, Jared held several senior-level positions at Grass Valley with his most recent as vice president of advanced technologies. He’s also held senior strategic sales roles at Piksel and Miranda Technologies. Jared attended Kennesaw State University.
