About the Presentation
Broadcast Supply Worldwide (BSW) from Tacoma WA, Orban Labs and Insoft LLC will combine forces to present at our next meeting. Representing BSW will be John Lynch, Director of Business Development who is marking his 27th anniversary at BSW this month, after 20 years in Radio and Television.
Representing Orban Labs and presenting new technology for AM processing developed by the legendary Bob Orban, will be Vice President and longtime engineer, Mike Pappas. Mike’s career in engineering included field work for ABC Sports and CBS Sports on events such as Monday Night Football, The Masters, and the Indianapolis 500. Mike also was group engineer for several public radio stations in Colorado.
Mike will present in person, the development and technology behind the new Orban XPN-AM-ND processor for AM Radio. He and John Lynch will have just arrived from an installation in the Philadelphia market. This new processor is a “game changer” for AM stations both from an audio performance standpoint, and energy savings. https://www.bswusa.com/Broadcast-On-Air-Processing-Orban-XPN-AM-ND-P14238.aspx
Also appearing at the meeting, via SKYPE, will be Alex Bonello. He is President of Insoft LLC and a longtime broadcast engineer. Insoft LLC developed the BSW exclusive Visual Radio system known as HDV-Mixer that is generating new audience and new revenues for radio stations, College Athletic Departments, racing series, churches and others. https://www.bswusa.com/VIdeo-Software-HDVmixer-Small-Video-Package-P12279.aspx
The meal will be provided by BSW, Orban Labs and Insoft LLC. Program Directors and Sales Managers are welcome and encouraged to attend to learn how they can benefit from XPN-AM-ND and HDV-Mixer.
Thank you to everyone that participated in the 2019 SBE22 Expo. For a show that was resurrected after a five year hiatus, it turned out to be very successful. We’ve received many positive comments from exhibitors and attendees. This was a great start and we can only grow from here. A very special thank you to our sponsors, exhibitors and attendees. I also want to thank the chapter members that volunteered their time to help make this show happen – Chapter officers, Vinny, Kevin, Jim and members, Gary, Alan, Mark, Pete & Don. Also, thanks to Cathy and Diane for your help at our registration desk on the day of the show.
We want your input. What did you like/dislike about our 2019 Expo? What do you want to see in 2020? Come out to our 10/23 meeting and provide some input. You can also email your thoughts to Tom McNicholl Click Here to email
