“Typical IT infrastructure issues and what NetAlly’s products are designed to diagnose” As broadcast and media operations continue to converge with IP networking, the network is no longer simply supporting the workflow. It has become an essential part of the signal chain. This session will examine how the transition from traditional analog and dedicated broadcast systems to digital, software-driven and IP-based workflows is changing the role of the broadcast engineer. Joe Custer will discuss why network resilience, scalability and visibility must be considered throughout the entire lifecycle, from system design and deployment validation to daily operations, change management and troubleshooting. Kris Armstrong will then provide a practical walkthrough of the NetAlly platform, demonstrating how broadcast and venue teams can quickly validate wired and wireless infrastructure, isolate problems and document network performance without needing to become full-time network engineers.

Kris Armstrong is a Senior Field Architect at NetAlly with deep expertise in wired and wireless networking, cybersecurity and network architecture. A CISSP and certified wireless networking professional, Kris specializes in making complex network issues understandable and demonstrating practical ways teams can validate infrastructure, isolate problems and resolve issues faster.
